College life
Hello, My name is Christian Orgill and I am 43 years old. This is my second year at Southern. Over the past twenty years I have been raising a family. I am blessed with four wonderful children. My oldest, Danielle, has cerebral palsy. I have twins Addison and Amber who are 23 and Brooke who is 12. I have known since I was in the ninth grade that I wanted to teach in special education. About two years ago I decided to pursue my passion and here I am now. I have been a teacher's assistant for the past five years. The budget cuts we recieved over the last year were the deciding factor for me to get a dual degree in both general and special education. I hope to finished within the year and to student teach in the fall of 2011.

Hey Christian, I like your blog post. We have some things in common. I am also an assistant teacher and I totally agree with you about getting a dual degree. Would you like to be in a group with me? I am not sure how we are suppose to go about composing our groups, so I was just going to ask this way.
